Dr. Hernandez graduated from Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in 1999 and has been practicing medicine for over 20 years. He has been trained in injectables and use of aesthetics for over 15 years.
Dr. Hernandez is a loving father of 5 and a proud owner of a beautiful golden doodle. He enjoys staying active by running half marathons, skiing in the winter months and golfing in the summer.
Mais Khamiss
Co-Owner & Laser technician
Mais is a graduate from Bucknell University where she got her Bachelor of Science in Biology. She also has a master’s in business administration in Healthcare Management and has been working in the medical field for 10+ years. Additionally, she has worked as a pharmaceutical sales representative and then an office manager. However, her dream was always to open a medical spa.
Mais is a mother of 3 girls (2 little girls and a dog). During her time away from the spa, she loves spending time with her family, gardening, and reading.
Taylor Newby, RN
Taylor Newby, originally from Bedford, PA, now resides in the Lehigh Valley with her husband, where they relocated in 2023. A graduate of Pennsylvania Western University with a bachelor’s degree in nursing, Taylor comes to us with nearly a decade of experience as a cardiothoracic nurse. Eager to explore the world of medical aesthetics, Taylor joined Cloud 17 Med Spa to expand her expertise. She offers a variety of services, including weight loss injections, neurotoxins, wellness shots, microneedling, chemical peels, CO2 resurfacing, filler treatments, and more. With a passion for continuing education, Taylor frequently pursues advanced courses to enhance her skills and provide the best care to her clients. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and reading.
Selena
Selena is a highly skilled Medical Aesthetician at Cloud 17 Med Spa, where she brings her expertise in advanced skincare and aesthetic treatments to help clients achieve their beauty goals. With a deep passion for aesthetics, Selena specializes in a variety of services, including laser hair removal, chemical peels, microneedling, dermaplaning, and custom facials. She is also proficient in using the latest advanced machines, ensuring that each client receives the most effective and up-to-date treatments.
Beyond her technical skills, Selena is known for her warm and approachable nature, making every client feel comfortable and cared for during their visit. She is dedicated to staying current with the latest trends and technologies in the industry, continuously enhancing her knowledge to provide the best possible results.
Outside of work, Selena enjoys spending time with her family and friends, and she considers her two dogs to be her best companions. A lover of nature, she often finds peace in the great outdoors and loves nothing more than a relaxing day at the beach.
Crystal
Crystal is a licensed esthetician who’s passion for esthetics plays a major role in helping her clients achieve, feel and see their true beauty in the skin they’re in! Crystal customizes her treatments and services tailored to each clients unique needs to deliver exceptional and beautiful results. Crystal is our certified Face Reality Acne Specialist and Certified Dolce Glow Spray Tan artist along with many other services she offers. Crystal’s passion is to help you unlock your natural glow while working together in achieving your skin care goals while providing a relaxing and rejuvenating experience.
Meaghan Nieves
Meaghan Nieves, RDH, BS, PHDP is a native of Berks County, Pennsylvania. She attended Fortis Institute in Erie, PA for her dental hygiene education and training. After graduation, she proceeded to achieve her Bachelors of Science at Pennsylvania College of Technology in Dental Hygiene, Human Resources and Office Administration. Meaghan is one of just a small percentage of dental hygienists who proceeded with education and training to become a Public Health Dental Hygiene Practitioner. This level of education allows her to work independently and to practice in a broader scope of practice than a typical hygienist.
